Matt Lauer was just on Oprah. He is great. I like him a lot.
Today was a pretty swell day.
I enjoy treating this blog like my own personal journal. I like to think that nobody is reading this.... (which I am sure is probably quite true.)
I am really glad that my parents cultured me. (I have no idea if that's what its called.... but thats what I'm calling it.) I love that I saw Paul McCartney when I was 13. I love how my parents took us cool places like San Fransisco, Boston, Seattle and Chicago. I am glad they drug me through countless art museums in Washington D.C. when I was a kid because now I appreciate art like they do. I am glad they introduced me to cool music. I am glad my first concert was Brian Wilson, and not Taylor Swift (sorry if that offends... har har har). I LOVE that whenever my family sits down to dinner Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald is playing. I love that my family loves music.
A while ago we were looking at ipod docks, and we saw this really cheap one. My brother said: "Well, we could get it for when we go on vacation to listen to music in the hotel room."
I love that my brother is concerned about listening to music in a hotel room.
I love that my dad and brother are in a band.
I like that my parents went to Beatle Fest.
I like my family. They are pretty swell.
Ok. I'm done. Sorry. That sounded cocky.
And here's a song: After All by Sondre Lerche
Oh boy. I have a really big crush on him. He is #1 on my People I Want to See in Concert list.
Oh. P.S.- I broke down and got on Facebook. Yikes.I am convinced that it was the doubters that made me do it. I needed support!

I don't know why I didn't notice this before, bt by golly you ARE the daughter of Dave Busk! My sister Corrin was in your dad's classes. She loved those classes. Said Busk was the best. He's like a legend. A LEGEND.
And you saw Paul McCartney?!? I am so jealous of you on a billion different levels...
Great post. You should let your parents read it. Parents like to hear stuff like that. Especially cultured as heck ones like yours. Don't forget to get me that music.
