This is my dog:
Her name is Annie.
They are best friends.
You may be thinking "But Jane! Annie is your dog. Why aren't you two best friends?".
Weird I know. Long story short: Annie hates me. Probably because I don't give her treats every second like my mom does, I don't feed her, and I don't let her do whatever she wants. I repeat WHATEVER SHE WANTS. Annie is obsessed with my mom. Their theme song is "Best of Friends" (hahaha click it. It's funny if you imagine my mom and Annie.) from Fox and the Hound. I know when my mom pulls into the driveway because I hear the thump thump thump of Annie's tail on the ground. She runs downstairs and scratches on the door. Wanna know what she does when I get home? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. Perhaps a growl or two.
Yeah ok. I'll admit I do bug her a lot... but for crying out loud I should get more respect than what she gives me. And whats weird is I love that dog a lot. A LOT. Even though she hates me... I still love her. I give and I give and I give and I get nothing in return. So why do I still love her so much? BEATS ME. But Annie loves my mom.
Like the song says "When your the best of friends having so much fun together... you're not even aware your such a funny pair. You're the best of friends." (Insert photo of Annie and my mom playing together. I wish I had one. Oh, I wish I had one.)
Anyway.

WAY cute dress!! And I'm pretty positive the relationship you have with your dog is the same one I have with mine. She hates me, I love her. She acknowledges ev.er.y.one. in my family, but who? yup, me. and for probably the same reasons as you.. I don't feed her or give her treats or walk her. My mom does all that. How funny.
