Hey. Why didn't you guys comment on my Kristen Wiig video? it is SOOOO funny. I'm offended.
So, I'm deep cleaning my room. LIKE deep deep cleaning it. As in when I'm done you can come look in every drawer and under my bed and it will be clean. YEAH, I know. CLEAN. But ohhhh boy am I finding some hilarious stuff.
I go through phases in my life. Not saying that "going through phases" is a bad thing, but said phases result in a lot of stuff. And I mean A LOT. My phases include: Harry Potter (now I know that pretty much everyone "likes" Harry Potter, but I don't think you guys realize the Harry Potter CRAZE I went through in elementary. It was MAJOR. Much more major than your average Harry Potter "fan"), Magic (kind-of the same as Harry Potter... but not), American Girl Dolls, Sewing, beading, Crafting, and Cupcakes.
Good thing I grew out of those phases. And I have managed to get rid of most of the stuff. I'm happy to say that I'm almost bead free, and scrapbooking supply free. I only keep the necessities.
I'm also a bit of a hoarder. Not necessarily like I need help from Oprah, but I really do like to hang on some stuff. I have a whole drawer full of notes from 7th and 8th grade... But it's organized! Anyway, I threw a lot of stuff away, and it feels good. I had to have my sister there as a mediator to talk some sense into me. She tried talking me into throwing away a "I am drug free" paper bracelet thing. WHAT IF I NEED THAT?! So what! I'm drug free and I want to prove it.
Now that you guys have a nice image of me and all my crap (that is probably false because it isn't as bad as I am making it sound) I'm going to stop. And give you a nice little blast from the past for the SOTD.

Remember this? Maybe you don't. It was on Princess Diaries. Princess Diaries was a big part of my childhood. More than you would think. I LOVED IT.
Also, I still genuinely like this song, so let's not go making fun.

I do the same thing with phases, though. I don't collect stuff or anything, but I definitely go through phases. Constantly.

remember our harry potter shirts in 6th grade? and I still have WAY too much scrapbooking paper, and remember when you got me obsessed with sewing but you were actually good at it?
your room is always spotless so I don't know how you possible had ANY thing to throw away in the first place. Kristin Wig, Wiig ? is way funny but I still say Tina Fey is a genius. That clip was good, just didn't highlight her brilliant funniness. Now if you had posted "Don't make me sing"..

I'm doing the exact same thing with my room. Except I seriously have to de-hoard my stuff because I'm moving out in just over a month. Yikes! But there are just some things I can't part with yet. Reminds me too much of my childhood. You know, all that sentimental stuff. So I had to make a "treasures" box to put them in. Now my room is starting to look rather bare. Kinda sad but refreshing.
